This year’s LA Swim Week showcased a remarkable blend of innovation and artistry, positioning itself as a one-of-a-kind celebration of swimwear fashion. With over 20 designers participating, the event featured some of the biggest names in the industry, including Steve Madden, Original Penguin, Scotch & Soda, and Natalia Fender, amongst others. This illustrious lineup highlighted the event’s prestige and its commitment to showcasing both established and emerging talents, one of the defining characteristics that sets Art Hearts Fashion apart.

The curated selection of designers showcased at Los Angeles Swim Week represented a diverse range of styles and perspectives, reflecting the event’s inclusive and forward-thinking ethos. The full roster of designers included Alexis Monsanto, Berry Beachy Swimwear, Bishme Cromartie, For The Stars Fashion House, Giannina Azar, Isaora, Kentaro Kameyama, LA Swim Lab, Lybethras, Merlin Castell, Mister Triple X, Natalia Fedner, No Punching Bag, Original Penguin, Richard Hallmarq, Ruby Yaya, Scotch & Soda, My Club, Steve Madden, Styx Athletics, and Sugarpuss Clothing. More than half of the designers in this year’s lineup are proudly based in California, and many were featured on Project Runway as well.

Steve Madden brought summer staples ranging from sundresses to bold printed blazer sets. Original Penguin showcased iconic branded menswear, including board shorts, t-shirts, button-ups, and knit tops perfect for any summer day (or year-round if you’re an LA local). Scotch & Soda elevated the runway with prints through various clothing pieces such as t-shirts and board short sets, perfect for an effortless, put-together summer look. Natalia Fedner stunned the audience with an all-metal couture collection, ideal for day-to-night looks. Natalia’s designs can be worn as beach cover-ups, everyday styles, or an elevated night look – there’s no wrong way to style her pieces!

This past weekend, Art Hearts Fashion continued to celebrate the intersection of fashion, art, and culture during Los Angeles Swim Week, one of the only fashion production platforms to do so. More specifically, the event underscored the significance of swimwear as a cultural statement, blending high fashion with contemporary influences and artistic expressions. This fusion of creativity and cultural relevance further solidified Los Angeles Swim Week’s position as a pivotal event in the 2024 fashion calendar and beyond.
