Los Angeles Fashion Week powered by Art Hearts Fashion, held from October 16 to 18, 2025, was a dazzling showcase of creativity, couture, and California cool. Here’s our pick of the top five runway shows that truly owned the spotlight this season.

Coral Castillo at Los Angeles Fashion Week

Known to many from Project Runway, Coral Castillo opened the week with her signature blend of structure and soul. Her SS26 collection was a masterclass in craftsmanship — featuring macramé artistry, intricate detailing, and silhouettes that balanced boldness with grace. The pieces were red-carpet-worthy yet refreshingly real, embodying the perfect fusion of high fashion and human touch. Castillo’s show set the tone for the entire week — sophisticated, statement-making, and grounded in artistry.

Glaudi

Glaudi’s show on October 16 shimmered with couture polish and the kind of effortless glam only California could inspire. Renowned for its bridal and evening couture, the brand redefined occasionwear by infusing fluid silhouettes and playful movement into its designs. Think timeless luxury that doesn’t take itself too seriously — gowns that glowed under the runway lights yet carried the air of freedom. Glaudi reminded everyone that elegance doesn’t have to mean restraint; it can dance too.

Sahar Shaer

Sahar Shaer Couture brought high-drama opulence to LA Fashion Week with a lineup that could rival any Parisian runway. Her designs embodied modern regality — rich fabrics, exquisite beadwork, and silhouettes that commanded attention. The collection leaned heavily into couture fantasy, yet retained a clarity of vision that made it distinctly Sahar Shaer. Among the couture houses present, her work stood out for its craftsmanship and unapologetic grandeur.

Giannina Azar

Giannina Azar’s presentation was the fashion fantasy everyone came for. A regular on international couture circuits, Azar infused her LA runway with bold embellishments, striking patterns, and unapologetic glamour. Her collection was less about minimalism and more about fashion as spectacle — vibrant, powerful, and deeply expressive. If there was a moment where the audience collectively leaned forward, it was during Azar’s finale. Her show reaffirmed why couture still has the power to astonish.

Label NKN

Label NKN (NKN Nekane) brought the cool, contemporary energy that tied the week together. While many shows leaned into couture drama, NKN offered modernity with a playful edge — wearable pieces that merged street-style ease with elevated detailing. It was a reminder that fashion’s future lies in versatility and authenticity. The collection felt young, confident, and ready to take LA style global.

Los Angeles Fashion Week 2025 – The Verdict

This season of Los Angeles Fashion Week was more than a fashion event — it was a declaration. The city has evolved from being Hollywood’s stylish backdrop to becoming a legitimate hub for global design innovation. Diversity, creativity, and craftsmanship shared the runway, each designer offering a different take on what “LA fashion” can mean in 2025.

If one theme defined the week, it was elevated ease — luxury that breathes, couture that moves, and fashion that celebrates individuality without losing its polish. LA has officially arrived, and it’s not just following trends anymore — it’s setting them.
