What Happens in Vegas, SLAYS in Vegas: Art Hearts Fashion’s Spectacular Debut of Swim Week Las Vegas

Las Vegas has always been synonymous with glamour, excitement, and unforgettable experiences, and now it can add one more feather to its cap—Swim Week Las Vegas, powered by Art Hearts Fashion in partnership with Resorts World. From August 15-19, 2024, this inaugural fashion and art festival redefined what it means to host a swim week, cementing its place as a new staple in the global fashion calendar.

Spread across the luxurious Resorts World Las Vegas (RWLV), Swim Week Las Vegas dazzled attendees with a multi-sensory experience that blended high fashion with electrifying entertainment. Iconic venues like Zouk Nightclub, Ayu Dayclub, Eight Lounge, Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge, and Fuhu set the stage for a series of events that were as diverse as they were dazzling, offering exclusive dining experiences and immersive artistic displays that went far beyond the runway.

The event brought together an eclectic lineup of over 15 renowned designers and 5 world-class DJs, creating a festival atmosphere that transcended traditional fashion showcases. Among the creative forces were local Las Vegas legend David Tupaz, swimwear visionary Sharnel Guy, edgy labels like Mister Triple X and The Black Tape Project, and fashion powerhouses such as Giannina Azar, For The Stars, and Merlin Castell. Adding a fresh twist to the mix were brands like Berry Beachy Swimwear, Pink Melon Swimwear, Styx Athletics, and even the avant-garde upcycling brand Love For Upcycling. With such a vibrant collection of designers, the runway presentations were nothing short of spectacular.

Complementing the fashion spectacle was a lineup of DJ sets by some of the music industry’s most celebrated names, including Slander, Illenium, Kaskade, Duke Dumont, and Savi. Their electrifying performances kept the energy high and the crowd buzzing throughout the event, ensuring that Swim Week Las Vegas was as much a musical fiesta as it was a fashion showcase.

Beyond the glitz and glamour, Swim Week Las Vegas also made a powerful statement about inclusion and community. In a groundbreaking move, the event proudly hosted the Autism Pride Center (APC) for their inaugural fashion show, shining a light on the importance of diversity and representation in fashion. This heartwarming collaboration underscored SWLV’s commitment to creating a platform that celebrates all voices and stories.

Art Hearts Fashion further expanded its reach with the debut of Style Oasis, in collaboration with MMGNET. This satellite event, hosted during Las Vegas’s bustling fashion market week, provided another vibrant space for industry insiders to connect. Sponsored by AIRSTREAM and hosted by Zouk Group, Style Oasis featured runway shows highlighting the latest trends in fashion, footwear, and accessories, including an exclusive showcase of Airstream’s newest collection. The event was capped off with a soulful performance by Grammy Award-winning artist Macy Gray, adding a perfect note of star-studded glamour to the proceedings.

Swim Week Las Vegas by Art Hearts Fashion has set a new benchmark for what fashion weeks can achieve—melding creativity with community, fashion with philanthropy, and style with substance.

It’s not just about what happens in Vegas anymore; it’s about creating moments that are iconic and enduring. As the curtains close on this inaugural edition, one thing is clear: Swim Week Las Vegas isn’t just here for a moment; it’s here to make history.
