India Designer Show Gen-X Celebrates New Fashion Talent

A new generation of Indian fashion designers took center stage at the India Designer Show Gen-X runway event in New Delhi. The lively fashion show, which was held at Roseate House in Aerocity, showcased collections by a number of up-and-coming designers.

“We are incredibly excited to unveil IDS Gen-X 2023 and showcase the extraordinary talent of the next generation of Indian designers,” said IDS’s founder and organiser Ronit Aggarwal in a press release on June 6. “This edition of IDS will serve as a platform for these young designers to express their creativity, push boundaries, and make their mark in the industry. We believe that the future of Indian fashion is bright, and IDS Gen-X 2023 will be the catalyst for their success.”
 
The event was designed to give young creatives a platform from which to launch their careers. It featured a variety of looks, from formalwear to cocktail dresses to partywear. The showtoppers for the evening were actors Anupriya Goenka, Stefy Patel, and Dinesh Mohan, who walked the runway in a range of occasion wear looks.

The International Institute of Fashion Design’s Gurgaon and West Delhi branches also presented a range of student designs on the runway. This gave the designers of the future a platform to showcase their talent. Other participating designers included T Pooja Chakrabani, Rosy Ahluwalia, Bharti Mittal, and Sanjay Mittal.

The India Designer Show Gen-X was a celebration of new fashion talent in India. It was a great opportunity for young designers to showcase their work and to gain exposure to the fashion industry. The event was a success, and it is sure to be an annual fixture on the Indian fashion calendar.
