Based in Millennium City of India, Gurgaon, AKS has a network of printing, dyeing, stitching and manufacturing units of Apparels in Jaipur. With a team of highly professional management, the brand is in the process of continuous expansion and incorporating latest business practice to serve customers. In a very short span of time, AKS has emerged as one of the biggest designer labels in India’s online fashion market.

 

The lady with subtle panache and perfection is the queen of fusion wears in the Indian Subcontinent who loves to drape contemporary women in best attires and fits. Nidhi is not just an acclaimed designer; she is a successful business leader too who can envision the opportunities with utmost confidence and elan. Nidhi is a Computer Science Graduate who has worked for Deloitte before pursuing her Masters Fashion Studies from Italy.

Nidhi has a good sense of trend forecasting, designing, and prints which always keep her brand fresh and trendy. She is the driving force of the organisation and always receptive to explore opportunities in the fashion world. She is proactive to embrace best innovations and practices in the digital haute couture industry. To unwind herself after hectic schedules, she loves travelling and is a local food enthusiast.

Journey to building the Brand

While pursuing her fashion designing course in Italy, Nidhi Yadav thoroughly studied the business model of the iconic brand, Zara. Inspired by their success, she decided to replicate it in AKS, a brand of Yuvdhi Apparels, co-founded by Nidhi on May 14 with small seed capital of 3.5 lac and a small warehouse of less than a thousand units. AKS has its headquarter in the Millennium City of India, Gurgaon, and has an integrated network of printing, dyeing, stitching and manufacturing units in the Pink City, Jaipur. With a team of highly professional management, AKS is in the process of continuous expansion and incorporating latest business practice to serve customers. In a very short span of time, “AKS” with the brand Yuvdhi Apparels under its fold has been one of the biggest fashion e-tailing firms in India.

AKS is growing consistently. Today, 25 employees are on the payroll, and more than 250 tailors and workers are associated with the company through partners. Under the brand AKS, which is targeted to all young ladies/girls from 18 to 35 years of age, students and working women, it offers a vast range of ethnic women’s wear, including range Kurta/Kurtis, Palazzo, Ethnic Sets, Anarkalis, Leggings, and Mojri (traditional footwear). To scale up an online customer base and increasing offline penetration via shop-in-shop and B2B business modules, AKS  is working on aggressive expansion plans of its own and in association with Myntra; the online promoter.
