Hyundai Elite i20 Bookings Cross 12,000 within 2 weeks

Hyundai’s recent launch into the market., the Elite i20 has reportedly crossed over 12,000 bookings in the country within two weeks of its entry.

The new generation model of Hyundai’s successful i20 seems to be very popular in the country.

Launched on 11 August, Elite i20 is offered in both petrol and diesel engine options in India.

The Elite i20 has 1.2 litre petrol engine and 1.4 litre CRDi diesel motor. While the petrol engine of Elite i20 can skim out 83 PS of power and max torque of 114 Nm, the diesel motorgets 90 PS of power and max torque of 220 Nm.

The car’s new look is stunning and is more appealing with its hexagonal grille at the front and also the new boomerang tail-lights.Elite i20 comes in five trims – Era, Magna, Sportz, Sportz (O) and Asta and in seven colour options – Red Passion, Pristine Blue, Mystic Blue, Star Dust, Midas Gold, Polar White and Sleek Silver.

Other features include multi-steering mounted audio controls, Bluetooth integrated 2 Din audio with USB and Aux-in and 1GB internal storage, rear AC vents, push start-stop button and automatic temperature control. There are also safety features like Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), four passenger airbags and reverse-parking camera, though the automatic version is not launched and is expected to launch with the good response.
