‘Hawaizaada’ Movie Review: Doesnt quite leave an impression..
Movie Release: ‘Hawaizaada’, a directorial venture of Vibhu Puri and starred by MithunCharaborty,the TV anchor-turned-actor Ayushmann Khurrana and Pallavi sharda hit the screens today. The movie got a mixed reviews from the film goers despite a fairly newer approach.
“Hawaizaada” has been written and directed by Vibhu Puri. The movie is set in Mumbai in 1895. The story is about the life of scientist Shivkar Bapuji Talpade who is credited to have constructed India’s first unmanned plane.
As to the the performances, the movie sees some earnest performances.It is hard to dismiss Ayushmaan’s on-screen presence. He is charming, endearing and vulnerable, all at once.Mithun has yet again impressed us with his effortlessness.Pallavi Sharda delivers her part very well.
Vibhu Puri’s interesting script, the good performances of the actors’ performances, melodious songs, Savita Singh’s brilliant cinematography, beautiful art work, locales and costumes are the main attractions of “Hawaizaada”. But despite having all these stuffs, the movie fails to impress and the reason is slow paced narration, say some viewers.
