Celebrities who lost their homes in Los Angeles Fires

Los Angeles, CA – In a series of catastrophic Los Angeles Fire that swept through Southern California starting January 7, 2025, several high-profile celebrities have tragically lost their homes. These fires, fueled by fierce Santa Ana winds, have not only displaced thousands of residents but have also left a mark on some of Hollywood’s biggest stars.

Billy Crystal: The beloved actor and comedian, along with his wife Janice, expressed profound heartbreak over the loss of their Pacific Palisades home in Los Angeles Fire where they had lived since 1979. Crystal shared in a statement that the house was filled with “beautiful memories” from raising their children and grandchildren there. “We are heartbroken of course but with the love of our children and friends, we will get through this,” Crystal stated.

Paris Hilton: The socialite and reality TV star announced the destruction of her Malibu beachfront home on social media, where she watched the fire consume her property live on television. Hilton highlighted the emotional attachment to the home where her son Phoenix took his first steps, emphasizing her gratitude that her family and pets were safe but mourning the loss of irreplaceable memories.

Mandy Moore: Known for her role in “This is Us,” Moore shared her devastation on Instagram after her Altadena home was destroyed in the Eaton Fire. She detailed the loss of her children’s school, favorite local restaurants, and expressed solidarity with her community, noting, “Our community is broken but we will be here to rebuild together.”

Leighton Meester and Adam Brody: This Hollywood couple reportedly saw their $6.5 million Pacific Palisades home go up in flames in Los Angeles Fire. The devastating images of their home were shared across media, highlighting the relentless spread of the fires through affluent neighborhoods.

Eugene Levy: The “Schitt’s Creek” star and honorary mayor of Pacific Palisades faced the destruction of his home. Levy recounted the intense smoke over Temescal Canyon, which he encountered while evacuating. His son, Dan Levy, also shared his grief for the community and family losses on social media.

Anthony Hopkins: The legendary actor lost his Pacific Palisades home, which he often featured in his social media posts. Photos confirmed the house was reduced to rubble, showcasing the indiscriminate nature of the wildfires.

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag: Known from “The Hills,” this couple experienced the heart-wrenching loss of their Palisades home. They shared emotional posts online, with Pratt noting a poignant detail of his son’s bed burning in the shape of a heart as a symbol of the love within their home.

James Woods: The actor was seen breaking down in tears on live TV, describing how his Pacific Palisades property was engulfed by the flames. He shared a touching story of his young niece offering her piggy bank to help rebuild, underscoring the personal impact of these fires.

Miles Teller and Keleigh Teller: The “Top Gun: Maverick” star and his wife lost their multimillion-dollar home in the Pacific Palisades. Footage and photos showed the complete destruction of their property.

Jeff Bridges: Although not his primary residence, Bridges shared the loss of a family home in Malibu that had been in the family for generations. His publicist confirmed the destruction of this cherished property
