A final sigh…
And with a deep state of mind,
I gaze at the wooden ceiling of my room.
Just awake from a deep slumber,
And already a tingling in my chest?

I close my eyes and wonder,
Yesterday was a storm alright,
Scattered all pieces of hope I had left,
But what’s this tingling in my chest?
The curtain flutters,
Cool wind blew over my skin,
A certain glow fills in.

Yesterday was a storm alright,
It took everything from me,
Except this tingling in my chest,
The tingling of excitement to do something,
To rise above my broken dreams,
To find the light in darkest caves,
A tingling to win my days.

And every story has a two phase,
It has a start, it has an end,
It has an up, it has a down,
And believing in yourself is all that counts.
So I jumped out of bed,
And smiled so wide,
Another precious day of my life,
I know things might fall and break,
But every time I’ll begin again.
