Ayodhya Runway Eve 2022 Lucknow

Ayodhya Runway Eve powered by Gaurs World was a short film festival organized by Avi Kashyap (Producer and Head of the AK Entertainment Productions Company) and by Ahana Singh (Professional ramp model). Set with vibrant costumes, entertaining dances and feet-tapping, Ayodhya Runway Eve gave guests a live Bollywood extravaganza. The event recognized and felicitated celebrities, producers, directors, fashion designers, and models. Not only did the event bring together some of the most interesting names in fashion, but it’s also known for the long list of celebrity showstoppers it attrtracted.

Ayodhya Runway Eve powered by Gaurs World and hosted by Anchor Mohit Avasthi commenced on the 6th of September at Sangeet Natak Academy Auditorium, Lucknow.  This event was supported by Filmbandhu Soochna Evam Jan Sampark Vibhaag whose official Film Joint Secretary Sanjay Asthana and Deputy Director Dinesh Sahgal were also present at the event.  The chief guest of the Ayodhya Runway Eve is the great producer Mr KC Bokadia (producer of films like Tumhare Hain Sanam, Teri Meherbaniyaan, Deewana Main Deewana) and actor Mr Karan Anand who has done big films like Kick, Calendar girls, Baby and many more. Director Sanjay Mathew was also present at the night to promote his film Zuni. People give so much love to short films like Zuni, Colour Black and The Gift.

Bringing the best in fashion and style to the fore, fashion shows are the ultimate revelation in sartorial excellence and design uniqueness. It is often said that fashion is an extension of one’s personality. But due to the nature of their profession, celebrities often have to go beyond their comfort zone and experiment with new (and sometimes offbeat) looks. During this event, the Khadi Runway show was done by celebrity designer Azma Ahmed (who designed outfits for Mahira Sharma, Bigg Boss 13) and showcased its jaw-dropping designs to attract, entertain and educate an audience on fashion styles and trends. The idea was to entice people towards Khadi with clothing that is comfortable, easy to wear and trendy. This event recognizes and showcases individuals who have made the most outstanding contributions to the fashion industry during the year. 

In addition to these other designers, Vikas Jaiswal, Ashish Verma, Vishesh Pandit and IFBT Institute presented their Khadi designs on the ramp. The Runway show created awareness about Khadi amongst the people present there. Ahana Singh turned the showstopper for the Grand Finale of the show. Avi Kashyap and Shubangi also turned the showstopper for the Khadi Runway show. Budding fashion designers are encouraged to explore the reaches of their trade as they team up with several established and celebrity designers as well as local and national models. 

Dr Sunita Pal, the showstopper for the event had this to say about the event :-

“It was a pleasant experience, whole team was very warm and caring towards everyone. Everything was managed well.. the show was superb. The main usp were gorgeous clothes, just couldn’t take me eyes off, especially the bridal lehenga I wore. It was a wonderful experience, kudos to the organisers. Its a dream team for any model.”

Not just the Runway show took off the eyes of the audience but the Dance troupe from Bombay owned the platform with their entertaining dance performance that sets people to dance on their feet.  The show presenter Avi Kashyap and Ahana Singh said “This is the second show that was supported by Filmbandhu and Gaurs World and they are also looking forward to organising the same events”. Ayodhya Runway Eve powered by Gaurs World was praised by guests, other dignitaries and by the audience also. It was indeed a beautiful, colourful and memorable night with film celebrities. The event caught the eyes of the audience and ended successfully with lots of support and love from the audience, celebrities, chief guests, fashion designers and the whole team.

Thanks to the chief guest for their arrival and presence in the event to turn the simple night into an amazing event.
