Inception’21 | Goa Institute of Management
‘Learning Never Stops’ defines the ethos of the GIM PGDM programmes – that learning at GIM is a continuous and holistic process. Goa Institute of Management has been a platform for the finest talents and the brightest minds of the country. The uniqueness of GIM is that it is a student driven campus with a plethora of student clubs and encourages the students to participate in all kinds of out-of-class and extracurricular activities.
Inception, the Performing Arts Society of Goa Institute of Management, organizes performing arts events for the students throughout the year. Inception provides students with a platform to shed their inhibitions and showcase their talent.
Our flagship event, ‘Inception’ – the Annual Cultural & Food Festival, is a two-day national level extravagance enjoyed by more than 900 students each day. It has been a grand success for the past 10 years. Events at Inception include dancing, singing, band performances, and lots more. The festival concludes with a grand musical concert by well-known rock bands and musicians. Being one of the most famous food festivals in the city, various food brands from Goa set up their stalls on the GIM campus.
In the past, Inception has witnessed several big names from the world of music and stand-up comedy including artists like Anand Bhaskar Collective, Abhishek Upamanyu, Samar Mehndi, Crimson Tide, The Pineapple Express, Daniel Fernandes, Gino Banks, Sheldon D’Silvia, Vipul Ajmera, and many more.
The exalted festival promises to enchant and enthrall one and all. The competitive spirit and avid enthusiasm among the students, makes the two-day festival a huge success.
This year, Inception will be the first of its kind, hybrid cultural college festival in India. Inception 2021, will be held on 19th and 20th February, with Mcaffeine as its title sponsor. The festival’s stage is set to witness some big names from the Indian music and stand-up industry. Stay tuned to find out more!
