Looking For You
I took out my boat one night,
And put my sail to the sea,
The water was shimmering in white,
And the stars were hanging low above me.
The wind that was blowing was slow and cold,
The moon that was shinning was dipped in gold,
I was alone that night or was it so?
The harmony of the universe decided my flow.
You could see yourself from a distance,
As if you were the ocean,
Or the glowing moon and stars,
Or the silvery clouds at far.
There was this peace in your being,
And music in every little thing,
You could be the earth rounded by the moon,
Oh its okay if you feel like a loon.
That’s what I am made to feel everyday,
By those who cannot see,
The magic that rests in holding,
In your hands a living being.
I put my sail to sea that night,
For I am searching for a friend,
Who can see what I see,
Who can hear the undiscovered territory,
Who can love me for who I am,
I am looking for a family,
Of people who are crazy like me,
Who can see the truth beyond what eyes can see.
I am looking for you so call out to me,
I will come to take you on a boat by the sea,
And we will sing songs under the shimmering sky,
As the last of our days slowly pass by…
