Interview with ace fashion photographer Amit Khanna | Top Fashion and Lifestyle Magazine Lucknow

Amit Khanna is one of the most prominent fashion photographers in the fashion industry. Amit Khanna is an interesting talent who apart from being a fabulous fashion photographer, is also a writer, director, producer and actor. Now that’s one seriously talented guy !! 

Amit started his journey as a fashion photographer 10 years ago in 2012. He was already pursuing his passion of writing and direction at the time. What started just as a hobby became a serious profession soon when his work started being noticed and applauded by people around him. With an interest in the field and motivations of his loved ones, Amit finally set out on a journey that would give him recognition not only in the country but abroad as well. Today he has clicked almost every prime celebrity face of the country and his every work leaves his fans waiting for more.

What are the three words that describe you ?

Honest, hard working and dedicated.

What are the things that you are most passionate about ?

I am the most passionate about everything I do because I believe that without putting your 100% into something , it’s never gonna be worth it, so whatever I do, whether be it clicking pictures, writing be it even meeting my friends or anyone for that matter at work, I put all my heart and soul into it. I am very passionate about anything I pick up as I believe time is less and we need to make the most of it. And anything done with complete focus will have a great result. I try my best to put everything I have into everything I do. 

Being one of the most celebrated fashion photographers in the industry is not an easy task. How do you cope with the work stress ? Who are your inspirations at work ?

Well honestly it is definitely not an easy task to cope up with all the stress  in the fashion industry. I try to keep myself cool as much as I can though it tends to get difficult at times even for someone like me. The best way I work it all out is by not thinking about my other shoots when I am doing a shoot. I always believe that we should be present where  we are and not worry about the future. I always make it a point to take out time for myself at least for an hour a day and sleep well.
My Inspirations are lots of people, I genuinely get inspired very easily with honest and strong people, people who make a difference in society.

Tell us about your dream project which you have done or wish to do in the future.

I do not have any dream project as such. I just keep upgrading my skills. I get scared of becoming stagnant in life so I challenge myself everyday, upgrade myself  and learn regularly. The same approach I have for the future as well.

As a beacon of inspiration to so many people out there, what is your advice to them ?

Sincerely I advise everyone to follow their heart and to put their heart n soul to get what you want. Bad times come but success is worth giving everything you got. Slog if you have too. Explore and bring something new to the table. Be creative.
