Style it up and Spice it up: How to become fashion stylist in lockdown
Fashion Herald got in touch with an upcoming fashion stylist – Ayesha Jain who is currently working in Mumbai, India to get some insights on what being a fashion stylist is.
We usually spend our time shopping for different categories of clothing and filling up our wardrobe with them but during lockdown we suddenly experienced a break in that habit and now we are left with ourselves and our wardrobe full of clothes looking at us and that sparked the creativity of a stylist in us.
Ayesha says – “Every person is an innate fashion designer; we just need our moment of realization and for many of us that is exactly what the lockdown is doing. We are realizing that many of our ‘old’ and ‘abandoned’ clothes can be re-styled and re-decorated to become our new favourites! “
Accoridng to Ayesha, its easy to get a modern sanskari look by experimenting with your or your mother’s saree and style it in your own way, who knows you may discover a true creative stylist in you? Most of the times we are too busy to discover the knack of fashion creativity in us, and this is the perfect time to do that.Pair your old tees with denims and lower to give a care-free yet intriguing look or style that old dress that you never wanted to throw away.
