Los Angeles Fashion Week 2025: Art Hearts Fashion Turns the Spotlight Global
The city of angels once again became the runway capital of the West Coast as Los Angeles Fashion Week Powered by Art Hearts Fashion unfolded from October 16–18, 2025, at the iconic The New Mart.

Following a whirlwind year of international showcases in London, Ecuador, and Guatemala, Art Hearts Fashion (AHF) returned home to LA before jetting off to Shanghai later this year — proving that fashion, indeed, has no borders.
The Return of a Global Powerhouse
Known for its bold, inclusive, and boundary-breaking showcases, Art Hearts Fashion has evolved from a Los Angeles event into a global fashion movement. Founder and President Erik Rosete summed it up best:
“This season in Los Angeles, we’re presenting our most international lineup yet, celebrating the global reach of Art Hearts Fashion. Fresh off an incredible run in London, and with Shanghai and South America on the horizon, we’re proud to showcase how fashion truly unites cultures and communities around the world.”
And true to that vision, this year’s runway was an intersection of heritage, innovation, and fearless creativity.
The Designer Line-Up That Stole the Show
The three-day event brought together an impressive roster of designers that represented both legacy names and fresh global voices. Among those who lit up the runway:
Alexis Monsanto, Amara, BFYNE, Coral Castillo, Cross Colours, David Tupaz, George Styler, Giannina Azar, Glaudi, HIROMI ASAI, Idol Jose, Kentaro Kameyama, Maribel JD, Maxmila, Merlin Castell, The Mestizo, Mister Triple X, MNM Couture, NKN Nekane, Pia Bolte, Raquelle Pedraza, Richard Hallmarq, Sahar Shaeir Couture, Venus Prototype, and Viator Felis, among others.
Notably, the Black Design Collective Upcycle Denim & Sustainability Project 2025 emerged as a crowd favorite, reflecting the industry’s ongoing shift toward sustainable practices and circular fashion.

Trends, Textures, and Takeaways
This season’s collections carried diversity in every thread — from macramé craftsmanship by Coral Castillo to the pop-street vibrancy of Cross Colours, and the architectural drama of Merlin Castell.
While each designer brought their signature edge, the overarching narrative was unmistakable: fashion as global storytelling.
Key themes that defined the week:
- Sustainability and upcycling took center stage — a notable evolution from previous seasons where it was often an afterthought.
- Streetwear met couture, bridging LA’s urban pulse with high-end detailing.
- Inclusivity extended beyond the runway, evident in the audience, collaborations, and even backstage camaraderie.
The Scene and the Spirit
The New Mart buzzed with energy across all three nights. From fashion insiders and media to celebrity stylists and design students, the crowd reflected LA’s signature blend of glamour and grit.
Backstage, the mood was electric yet collaborative — stylists, makeup artists, and designers sharing spaces and stories. Partners like Billion Dollar Beauty, Maison Perrier, Smartwater, and Fashion Techworks added polish to the event’s already luxe experience.
By the grand finale on October 18, it was clear this was more than a fashion week — it was a cultural convergence, celebrating artistry and aspiration alike.
For Fashion Herald readers, Los Angeles Fashion Week 2025 stands out not just for its spectacle but for its substance. The blend of established names and rising voices, the move toward sustainability, and the global cross-pollination of design ideas all hint at what’s next for fashion: connection over competition.
Art Hearts Fashion continues to remind the industry that LA is not a satellite to New York or Paris — it’s a style frontier of its own.
A special thanks goes to partners Billion Dollar Beauty, Fashion Techworks, Icon Hair, Japonesque, Joy on a Stick, Maison Perrier, Six Summit Gallery, Smartwater, The Makeup Light, and The New Mart, who continue to support this ever-evolving creative platform.
In a city built on dreams, this season’s Los Angeles Fashion Week proved that fashion isn’t just about what we wear — it’s about how we connect, create, and celebrate.
