First thing, tell us about your 2022 goals !
To really establish myself as an Independent musician/singer and create a solid fanbase that enjoys my music.
What is your daily lifestyle like ?
Its hectic usually because I have my hands in multiple things including my business of bespoke merchandise and interior decor items and my own app in addition to being aboard other social media apps such as MOJ ,Josh and Trell as their resident content creator for my official handles thereof.
You are an actress as well as a social media mega influencer. How does the two work spaces differ and what kind of work do you enjoy more ?
Acting is a very collaborative job and requires for multiple variables to strike in your favor at once such as your look to fit the character, for the casting agent to forward your tape and then for the director to be convinced about you doing justice to the part you have auditioned for and finally also for the production house and OTT network to be in consensus about hiring you for the part.
Whereas , with social media there is a great deal of autonomy and freedom to create content that’s exclusively distinct to you .
Personally I enjoy both spheres but if I were to choose one at gun point I’d go for social media influencing purely because it allows me to create exactly the kind of content I gravitate to by allowing me a free hand thus helping me express myself absolutely authentically .
You get viral most often on social media for you work. Whats ur secret to social media success ?
There can never be a code that one can crack to going viral .It is an absolutely organic phenomenon .My intent however is to always be who I am and create content that has a great deal of detailing and uniqueness be it with respect to my fashion or makeup and now going forward my music. I think all said and done ,people can see through what’s real and raw and what is a façade .To sum up my answer, my secret is to be 100% who I am .What you see is what you get.
How you prepared urself for your role in your upcoming series ‘The Incomplete Man’ ?
For the first time in my career I am playing a deglam character of an everyday woman who happens to be a Doctor .On the surface she is a Plain Jane but as the movie unfolds you see layers to her that establish her as quite the contrary to what she projects .
How I prepared for my role is by being very thorough with my lines and trying multiple ways of how I could play out a scene by rehearsing during my off time with my co-actors. I would try doing a different variation every take so as to not be too rigid and predictable .I always try and imagine how one can deliver a dialogue or play a part being atypical. However , I prepare for even the specific brief given to me by the director because ultimately its his vision and I respect that. Once I’ve done my due diligence in providing for several options to select from then its the director’s discretion as to what gets approved and what gets dropped .From my end I like to experiment and try and give as many options as I can.
Name one beauty trend that you love and one you absolutely hate.
I love the current trend of graphic eyeliner and one that I hate is wearing strange eyelashes in pop colours.
Your OTT presence is also widely loved by your fans. What do you enjoy more, work in movies or OTT? Where can we hope to see more of you in the near future ?
I love OTT content because its edgy and very detailed as it is a whole season one shoots for thus you get to sink your teeth deeper into the character you’re playing and sort of live a mini life in their universe .
You will see me in a big way on the music scene and in the space of web , also, I intend on becoming exponentially big on social media.
