Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield Expands Northern Europe Operations Under New London-Based COO Vincent Jean-Pierre
Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) has announced the consolidation of its UK, Netherlands, Denmark, and Sweden operations into a unified and expanded Northern Europe region, led by Vincent Jean-Pierre, who has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO). This strategic move, the company says, strengthens its position as a leading player in top European and US markets.

The newly combined Northern Europe region encompasses some of URW’s highest-performing assets, including Westfield London and Stratford City, Westfield Mall of the Netherlands, and Westfield Mall of Scandinavia in Stockholm. Additionally, it features promising development projects such as Coppermaker Square and Croydon in London, and Amstelveen in the Netherlands.
As COO, Vincent Jean-Pierre will be based at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield London office, supported by a management team spread across London, Amsterdam, and Stockholm. URW’s CEO, Jean-Marie Tritant, highlighted that the restructuring aims to optimize operations, drive growth, and unlock value from URW’s portfolio of prime assets in Europe and the US. Tritant expressed confidence in Vincent’s leadership and experience, which will be vital in capitalizing on the group’s existing assets and future development opportunities.
Vincent Jean-Pierre, who has been with URW for 20 years, said: “I’m excited to lead our newly formed Northern Europe team. With our talented team, exceptional portfolio, and development prospects, we are poised to create vibrant, sustainable destinations that will benefit both communities and businesses.”
Before taking on his new role, Jean-Pierre headed URW’s Offices and Mixed-Use Development division. He will be supported by a highly experienced regional management team, which includes Geoffrey Deshayes in Amsterdam as MD of Asset Management, overseeing standing assets and investment teams. Jacinta Rowsell in London will serve as MD of Customer & Retail Operations, managing shopping center operations, leasing, marketing, and UK development projects. Louise Haffenden, also in London, will act as MD of People, while Samuel Renoux in Stockholm will serve as CFO for Northern Europe.
This restructuring follows the departure of former UK COO Scott Parsons, who left the company at the end of March. Tritant expressed his gratitude to Scott for his significant contributions to URW’s UK business, leaving it in a strong position for future success.
