Narendra Modi Expands Union Cabinet; 21 new ministers included
New Delhi: Expanding his cabinet of ministers on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inducted former Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar and three others to his council of ministers. The Indian PM has brought 21 new ministers to different ministries while Shiv Sena shunned the event.
It was speculated that Shiv Sena leader Anil Desai will be included in the Union Cabinet as his name was pitched by party chief Uddhav Thackeray yesterday. But things have yet not normalized between the BJP and Shiv Sena as Mr. Desai was not included during Modi’s cabinet reshuffle.
