Lakme Fashion Week 2024: Karishma Tanna turns showstopper for INIFD Launchpad on Day 1 of Lakmē Fashion Week 

INIFD Launchpad kicked off Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI with a bang!

On the first day of Lakme Fashion Week 2024, Bollywood actress Karishma Tanna stole the show as the grand finale showstopper for the INIFD Launchpad. The INIFD Launchpad is a platform for budding fashion designers to showcase their talent at the prestigious fashion event.

Tanna’s outfit, designed by the INIFD Launchpad winner, is sure to become a talking point of the fashion week. The dress was designed by Yash Gada who presented his collection “Dhagedaar Denim,”in the event.

This is a great opportunity for both Tanna and the INIFD Launchpad winner. Tanna gets to lend her star power to a new generation of designers, while the winner gets national exposure for their work. Manisha & Rashmi unveil “Checkmate,” inspired by the mod subculture of the 1960s and the iconic movie “The Archies,” offering a timeless style for today’s generation.

Ishita Sikka‘s collection, “I The Mind,” is a mesmerizing fusion of hypnotic patterns, erotic imagery, and enigmatic thoughts, drawing inspiration from psychedelic art and cosmic union.

Priyal & Kanwari introduce “THE NEW CORNER,” inspired by the Yuppie era of the 80s, offering a wide range of affordable fashion from semi-formals to formals for young urban professionals.

Palak Uke presents “Japanese Vintage,” a streetwear collection celebrating the enduring elegance and evolving aesthetics of Japanese fashion throughout the 20th century. This collection merges traditional Japanese elements with Western influences, capturing the essence of Japanese vintage style.
