Bryan & Candy’s founder, Mr. Dipak Desai has an experience of more than 30 years in the field of Pharmaceutical, Skin care and personal care industry. Having his roots for more than 20 years in Dermatological/Skincare product manufacturing and also being the contract manufacturer to leading pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical companies from across the globe, he has perfected the chemistry and acquired the skills needed for precision manufacturing. He is also a partner in Aurochem laboratories (I) pvt ltd & Regaliz Medicare ltd. Aurochem has five production facilities, where it produces pharmaceuticals, skin care, personal care, and dermatology products. Regaliz Medicare ltd is an ethical marketing company having a Dermatology division with all India presence and a team of 240 professionals.
The motivation behind starting Bryan & Candy as a globally appealing brand
Mr. Dipak Desai, and his team has a close interaction and business collaborations with the global personal care industry and during his extended stay in New York, the idea of a globally appealing brand, with international packaging and design, took shape. With the right expertise and know-how in manufacturing, a reservoir of knowledge, skills, and production facilities, he started working with his team to convert these strengths in creating Luxury Bath and Body products for Indian & Asian skin types, and finally launching a brand that is the best in class by any global standards. Furthermore, elaborating about it, he said, “Once I understood the fundamentals of production and the entire process of packaging, the team focused on creating high quality and premium bath & body care products at pocket-friendly prices.”
How do you best describe your products? How have you transformed the brands to meet Indian needs?
“Our team has designed Luxury products backed by nature and science. We believe in Bath & Body Care that works by creating a powerful blend of world’s finest ingredients scientifically calibrated to create Luxury Products at a price-point just suited for everyone & for everyday use. All our products are Vegan friendly, Free from Sulphates, Parabens or any other toxic ingredients. All our formulations have skin friendly pH 5.5.”
What factors according to you are the biggest strengths for your products in the Indian market? What are the biggest issues your company is trying to solve currently?
“We offer products that are natural, vegan-friendly, and creatively packaged at an affordable price. Since skin is the biggest organ in our body, we focus mainly on solving skin issues related to 90% of our body. Our products ensure a healthy as well as a luxurious experience. We use the best quality ingredients and high quality IFRA certified fragrances.”
