Hrithik Roshan declines ‘Step Up 6’ offer, wants to do something different.
Hrithik Roshan, who was recently approached to play the lead in the next installment of popular Hollywood dance franchise, “Step Up”, has reportedly denied signing any such project.Apparently, the actor known for his dance moves and Greek God looks is in no hurry to sign new films.
Roshan who is currently busy promoting his upcoming film, “Bang Bang”, has only signed Ashutosh Gowariker’s “Mohenjo Daro” as of now. The actor plans to start shooting for the film, once “Bang Bang” releases next month.
“I’m looking to do something edgy and different. I feel I’m more at ease with taking risks right now. Apart from Ashutosh’s film (Mohenjo Daro), I haven’t signed anything else.” the actor told The Hindustan Times.
“At the moment, he is only doing Ashutosh Gowariker’s next, which is a period film. Once Bang Bang releases, he plans to start doing the research for Ashutosh’s project,” the actor’s friend confirmed.
The rumor of Roshan featuring in “Step Up 6”, however, didn’t come as a surprise to the actor, as this not the first time such thing has happened. Considering the fact that actor has a huge fan following in Hollywood too, such rumors are bound to spread, especially when it comes to the dance flick.
“He isn’t surprised either, because this isn’t the first time this has happened. Every time a dance-based film makes news, Hrithik’s name invariably crops up,” added the friend.
Meanwhile, Roshan is all set to make it huge with his upcoming action thriller “Bang Bang”. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film has garnered overwhelming responses from the audience with its recently released trailer and songs.
