Holymonkey opened its first outlet in January end 2019 at Gole market mahanagar, followed by their second outlet at Phoenix mall, Alambagh Lucknow.

HM offers a larger variety of healthy dishes including salads and cold pressed juices with a taste that is sure to stimulate your taste buds. They were the first to launch Buddha bowls and smoothie bowls in Lucknow. They offer Buddha Bowls in Brown Rice and Quinoa Rice.

Buddha Bowl? Now you might think, “It’s just a meal in a bowl—what’s the big deal?”

Buddha bowl is named because of its big, round Buddha belly shape. It is a ‘one-dish’ healthy meal that is extremely rich in proteins and other nutrients. Yes! No more making faces when you try to eat healthy!

Buddha bowls, also know as hippie bowls, are made of various greens, boiled or roasted veggies, beans, and healthy grains like quinoa or brown rice. Sometimes they also include toppings like nuts, seeds and dressings for added texture and flavor.

And what about Cold-pressed Juices? 

Cold-pressed juice is a term used for juice that uses a hydraulic press to extract juice from fruit and vegetables, as opposed to other methods such as centrifugal or single auger.

HolyMonkey also offers some other yummy delights with tasty burgers and shakes on the menu. We did try their Oreo Shake and Veg Burger and simply loved it. The best part – The Oreo Was Fresh !!! 🙂

The 9 months old startup has seen its fair share of problems.From ordering the required ingredients to the still evolving Lucknow market to the packaging problem of food items for delivery caused by the recent ban on plastic items. But these have been dealt with patience by the founders and HolyMonkey races ahead to become a name to be reckoned with in Lucknow food industry. Jojo is doing it with leaps and bounds and we wish him all the good luck for the times to come.
