On what Ellie Hover describes as a “whim,” Ellie applied for a local runway show promoted by Rocky Mountain Agency on Instagram. With zero experience but a spirit full of courage, she walked into the opportunity—and walked out signed to the agency.
If that wasn’t already a fairy-tale beginning, the next chapter came fast. “I applied for the PacSun Holiday 2023 campaign and actually got selected!” Ellie was flown out to PacSun’s headquarters to model for their national campaign—an opportunity that not only validated her natural flair but also opened the doors to a whole new world.

Cut to Miami Swim Week 2025. In a sea of seasoned models and glittering swimwear collections, Ellie stood out—not because she tried to blend in, but because she fully embraced who she was.
“Being recognized as a Top Miami Swim Week Model for my very first swim week means so much,” she shares, still riding the high. “I had no idea if I’d even book a show, but I ended up walking for BadPink—and I’m just happy I got to represent the brand the way it deserves.”
That kind of humility, paired with fierce dedication, is exactly why Ellie’s making such waves.
On Confidence, Comparison & the Swimwear Struggle
Swimwear modeling, especially for newcomers, isn’t all glowing tans and perfect poses. Ellie is refreshingly honest about her battles with body image—struggles that many in the industry silently face.
“It’s so easy to compare yourself to all the beautiful girls out there,” she admits. “But I’ve learned that your uniqueness is your strength. The thing you’re most insecure about may be the very thing that makes you you.”
One quote that sticks with her? “You don’t need to be pretty like her. You can be pretty like you.” Spoken like a true role model.
Through it all, her family, boyfriend, and unshakeable faith have kept her grounded. “Their support means the world to me,” Ellie says. “And my faith in Jesus is the foundation of everything I do.”

Off the runway, Ellie Hover is as dynamic as they come. A volleyball prodigy in high school, she still holds the record for most kills in a single game in her division. Outdoorsy to her core, Ellie grew up fishing, hunting, and adventuring with her dad, grandpa, and two older sisters. She’s also a certified esthetician in California with dreams of living by the beach—and yes, she can whip up a mean morning latte.
Lately, she fell in love with weightlifting and nutrition. “The gym is honestly my favorite part of the day—other than my latte ritual, of course,” she laughs.
Surprisingly, the confident model in front of the lens was once a very shy girl. “It’s taken a lot of work to get comfortable in front of cameras and crowds,” Ellie confesses. “But every step outside my comfort zone has been worth it.”
