ROSÉ of BLACKPINK Joins Coldplay Onstage in Seoul for Surprise “APT.” Duet
Coldplay’s ongoing Music of the Spheres Tour had a glittering surprise in store during their fourth night at Goyang Stadium in Seoul: ROSÉ of BLACKPINK joined the band onstage for a special performance of her global hit “APT.”

Wearing a dazzling silver jacket, ROSÉ lit up the stage as she sang the first verse of the track, striding confidently down the catwalk before handing the mic over to Chris Martin, who filled in for Bruno Mars—her original collaborator on the song. Together, they brought a new spark to the crowd-favorite single, sending fans into a frenzy.
“It’s whatever, it’s whatever, it’s whatever you like,” Martin rapped with a grin, as ROSÉ beamed beside him and fans echoed the lyrics. “Turn this ‘apt’ into a club.”
Originally released in October, “APT.” marked ROSÉ’s breakout moment as a soloist, topping the Billboard Global 200 for 12 weeks and peaking at No. 3 on the Hot 100, solidifying her crossover success while BLACKPINK remains on hiatus. The track is featured on her debut solo album Rosie.
Coldplay’s collaboration with ROSÉ follows their earlier South Korea tour highlights, including a joint performance with TWICE during opening night on April 16, where they debuted a reimagined version of “We Pray.” The performance was so well received, the official version dropped on streaming services shortly after.
With two nights remaining at Goyang, the band’s Seoul residency continues to blend surprise appearances with stadium-sized magic — and ROSÉ’s appearance is sure to go down as one of the tour’s most unforgettable moments.
