Okasian and Bryan Chase Join Universal Music Korea in Major Label Move
Hip-hop heavyweights Okasian and Bryan Chase have officially signed with Universal Music Korea, marking a fresh chapter for both artists and coinciding with the label’s rebranding of its local Artist & Label division.

Okasian, known for his work with The Cohort and his inclusion in XXL’s “Top 10 Must-Know Rappers from Korea,” brings over a decade of experience and collaborations with The Blacklabel, Interscope, and 88rising. Chase, who gained attention with his 2015 remix “No Flex Zone,” has since collaborated with Taeyang and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, blending melodic flows with lyrical finesse.
“This is a new beginning,” Chase said, while Okasian called the deal “an exciting journey to create authentic music.”
Their recent joint track “LOV3” on Sik-k and Lil Moshpit’s EP “K-FLIP+” showcases the synergy they bring to the table.
Universal Music Group’s Southeast Asia and Korea CEO, Calvin Wong, welcomed the pair, praising their impact on the Asian hip-hop scene and their potential to reshape the music landscape.
The label, already home to artists like Dean and Heyoon, has also launched a new Instagram channel to highlight its evolving artist roster.
