MBFWMadrid Expands March 2026 Edition to Five Days, Welcoming 30 Designers
MBFWMadrid – Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid is set to scale new heights with its March 2026 edition, extending the event to five full days from March 18 to 22, 2026. Organised by Ifema with the support of the Madrid City Council, the expanded schedule reflects the growing momentum of Spanish fashion on the global stage.
The decision to add an additional day of runway presentations comes in response to a record number of designer applications. The extended format allows the official calendar to accommodate a broader range of creative voices, with 30 designers confirmed to present their Autumn-Winter 2026 collections.
According to Ifema, the expanded programme reinforces MBFWMadrid’s current growth phase and further consolidates its position as the leading platform for Spanish design. The move signals both creative confidence and structural evolution, positioning Madrid as an increasingly influential fashion capital within the European circuit.

The expansion was approved by the MBFWMadrid Fashion Committee, a strategic body playing a central role in the event’s ongoing transformation and repositioning. Comprising professionals from fashion, luxury, communications, and business, alongside the event’s management team, the committee continues to shape a future-focused vision for the platform.
With a longer schedule, heightened designer participation, and renewed strategic direction, MBFWMadrid’s March 2026 edition is shaping up to be one of its most dynamic seasons yet. If this expansion is any indication, Spanish fashion is not just growing, it’s confidently stepping into a larger global conversation.
