Interview With Bidita Bag: The Sholay Girl Opens Up On Professional & Personal life.

Q. How did you come into acting ?
A. Struggled for more than 12 years giving five to six auditions daily in Mumbai carrying my portfolios and lappy all day in those non-Facebook days. It was tough but always seemed possible.

Q. What catalyzed you to choose acting ?
A. I was always Crafty and Prolific which made me realize acting is my ‘Cup of Tea’.

Q. Who is your Favorite Designer ?
A. Sabyasachi. I have worked with him quite a number of times. He has always been my Mentor and encouraged me to come into acting.

Q. What fashion trends do you follow ?

A. Well, I have my own style. I prefer dresses which are comfortable,stylish and glamorous.

Q. Your Go-To-Look.
A. I am more infatuated towards wearing clothing of fabrics like cotton, linen, rayon and handicraft sarees nowadays and reviving my old dresses into new ones.

Q. You have done a lot of photoshoots. Which is your favorite by so far?
A. I remember Sabyasachi once advised me to always learn the ‘Backstory of Garments’. There is no one shoot which is favourite infact all have their own memory and every shoot made me learn something new.

Q. Share about your love life.
A. Well, love blossomed in my life for certain times but never stayed for long. My glamour infatuated many but the same later made them
insecure.

Q. What about making friends in Bollywood ?
A. I always had very tight schedule from managing home to shoots and gym. There was not enough time for friendship.

Q. Your favorite holiday destination.
A. There is still a lot to explore in India specially North- East. I have already been to many adventurous destinations and remaining are on my to-go list.
