Indian Singing Sensation Shreya Ghoshal celebrates her 31st Birthday

The Bollywood singing icon and diva Shreya Ghoshal turned 31 today.

Her career began when she won the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contest after which she started getting many bollywood offers.Shreya has come a long way from her debut in Bollywood with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Devdas” in 2002, in which she sang most of the songs (5), including the popular songs “Bairi Piya”,  “Dola Re Dola”,  and “Morey Piya”.

The playback singer has given her voice in almost all Indian languages including Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu films as well as in other Indian languages such as Assamese, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, and Punjabi and has made her fans drool over her amazing fashion style statements on stage performances across the globe.

She has received many awards, including four National Film Awards, three State Film Awards, five Filmfare Awards, and seven Filmfare Awards South.

In February this year, she shocked her fans with the sudden announcement of her marriage with her long-time boyfriend Shiladitya attended by close friends and family members in a traditional Bengali style.

“Married the love of my life yesterday night (5th feb) in a beautiful bengali traditional wedding in presence of our families and closest friends. Shiladitya and I both seek your good wishes in this exciting new phase of our lives,” Shreya announced the news via her Facebook and Twitter pages.
