Chanel Taps Angèle for the Launch of Chance Eau Splendide Perfume
hanel has enlisted Belgian pop sensation Angèle to front the launch of its latest fragrance, Chance Eau Splendide. This collaboration is far from coincidental, as Angèle, 29, has been a longstanding ambassador for Chanel’s beauty and fashion lines since 2020. Having previously fronted several Chanel campaigns, Angèle is also frequently seen wearing the brand’s luxurious looks and makeup, including during her Nonante Cinq tour in 2022.

“Angèle’s career is incredibly vibrant. As a pop phenomenon and a leading figure in the francophone music world, she has embraced every opportunity in her career, turning challenges into remarkable artistic achievements,” said Chanel in a press release.
In the highly anticipated campaign, directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Angèle takes center stage in a whimsical funfair setting, performing A Little More, an original song she wrote specifically for the Chance Eau Splendide launch.
First introduced in 2003, Chanel’s Chance fragrance was created by Jacques Polge, the brand’s renowned perfume designer who held the role from 1978 to 2014. Since its debut, the fragrance line has expanded with several variations, including Chance Eau Fraîche, Chance Eau Tendre, and Chance Eau Vive. Now, Chanel unveils Chance Eau Splendide, a fresh fruity-floral scent crafted by Olivier Polge, the brand’s current perfumer and son of Jacques Polge.
