Capristan Blooms in Lavender and Orchid at New York Fashion Week 2025

At Art Hearts Fashion’s dazzling New York Fashion Week showcase, designer Martin Capristan unveiled a collection that was equal parts sensual and sophisticated, inspired by the delicate beauty of lavender and orchid hues. Known for creating pieces that strike a balance between sultry allure and everyday wearability, Capristan once again delivered a runway that celebrated women in all their dimensions.

“I make my designs for the everyday woman and add couture pieces for the runway,” the designer shared, underscoring a philosophy rooted in accessibility and empowerment. This approach was evident in the mix of sleek, ready-to-wear silhouettes alongside statement couture gowns that turned heads under the runway lights. Each design was cut to highlight the female form—sexy and sultry, yet always grounded in sophistication.

Sustainability also stood at the heart of the brand’s presentation. Every garment was produced in the USA with a commitment to minimizing waste and using recycled fabrics wherever possible. The ethos was clear: beauty without compromise. “We try to use recycled fabric and don’t waste any of it,” Capristan explained, reflecting a modern consciousness that matches the desires of today’s fashion-forward consumer.

The collection offered inclusive sizing from XS to XL, proving that Capristan designs with real women in mind. Whether it was a tailored piece for everyday wear or a couture showstopper meant for the runway, the garments carried a unifying thread—empowering women to feel both confident and undeniably chic.

For Capristan, this season was more than a show—it was deeply personal. “NYSW was a homecoming for me. Originally from Queens, I designed the collection exclusively for NYSW. Showing my designs in NYC was a dream come true,” he shared. That sense of pride and authenticity infused the collection with a spirit that felt as bold as the city itself.

With the color palette drawn from the soft yet striking tones of lavender and orchid, the collection radiated freshness and femininity while making a powerful case for sustainable luxury. Capristan’s NYFW showing with Art Hearts Fashion didn’t just celebrate style; it celebrated women themselves—everyday, extraordinary, and everything in between.

“See you at the next show.” – Designer Martin Capristan
