BTS returns officially, and this time, they’re returning with a powerful reminder of why they remain global icons. After completing their mandatory military service, all seven members – RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook – have reunited, bringing their full energy back to the world stage. Their first major release since reuniting is set to be historic: Permission to Dance on Stage – Live, BTS’s first-ever live album, will drop worldwide on July 18. Fans have eagerly waited for this moment, as the group’s return not only marks a musical BTS return but the rekindling of a bond that millions hold dear.

The upcoming album features a spectacular 22-track setlist recorded from their Permission to Dance on Stage world tour, which first began as an online concert in October 2021 amidst the pandemic before expanding into massive stadium shows in Seoul, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. Over four million fans tuned in, whether virtually or in person, to experience BTS’s electrifying performances that lit up stages across continents. This live album will include powerful renditions of their chart-topping hits like “Dynamite,” “Butter,” “ON,” and “Boy With Luv,” showcasing the group’s incredible synergy, stage charisma, and the unbreakable connection they share with ARMY.
For the first time ever, fans will have access to official live versions of these beloved tracks, giving them a rare chance to relive the emotions, cheers, and raw power of BTS’s concerts – or to immerse themselves in the tour experience for the very first time. In addition to the audio release, the group is offering a digital companion titled Permission to Dance on Stage – Seoul, which features a full-length 141-minute concert video from their March 2022 show at Seoul’s Olympic Stadium. The release also includes a stunning 92-page photobook containing interviews, intimate behind-the-scenes images, and personal reflections from each member, offering a glimpse into their journey, struggles, and gratitude.
Pre-orders for the album opened on July 1 through online and offline retailers, and the official global release is set for July 18. This live album is not just a celebration of their music – it marks BTS’s first full-group project since completing their military duties, highlighting a reunion rooted in growth, dedication, and resilience. Since their debut in 2013, BTS has continued to redefine the global music landscape with six No.1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100, sold-out stadium tours, Grammy nominations, and wins at the Billboard and American Music Awards. Now, with their return, BTS is ready to create a new era, proving once again that their journey is far from over – in fact, it’s only just beginning.
