Alan Walker Wants to Collaborate With Hanumankind: “Love His Vibrant Blend of Tamil and Electronic Music”
Global EDM star Alan Walker is back in India for what marks his 10th performance in the country—and he’s more excited than ever. As part of Walkerworld India Part II, the “Faded” hitmaker is touring four new cities: Guwahati, Bhubaneshwar, Hyderabad, and Jaipur, with the grand finale set to take place on April 20.

Alan Walker recently opened up about his growing admiration for Indian music, name-dropping a few local artists who have caught his ear—most notably Hanumankind. “I love his vibrant blend of Tamil and electronic music, and of course, his energy is something else,” Walker shared, hinting at a potential future collaboration.
He also praised Indian heavyweights Badshah and KING, noting Badshah’s effortless fusion of Hindi, Punjabi, and pop sounds, and KING’s lyrical creativity. “India’s music scene is incredibly diverse and inspiring,” he said.
Walker’s connection with India runs deep. Since his first visit in 2016, the Norwegian-British DJ says the country has felt like a second home. “India never ceases to amaze me,” he said. “The culture, the food, the people—it’s so dynamic and full of life. I’ve made great friends here, and the energy is just unmatched.”
Reflecting on his favorite moment, Walker recalled a scene from his last show that still gives him chills: “The entire crowd sang along to ‘Faded.’ It was surreal, one of those moments that just stays with you.”
With the Jaipur stop capping off what has become India’s highest-grossing EDM tour, Walkerworld India Part II isn’t just a milestone—it’s a celebration of the powerful bond between Walker and his Indian fanbase. And if things go his way, a collab with Hanumankind might just be on the horizon.
